Cloud TBM Consultant

• Own cloud financial management, cost transparency, and FinOps initiatives across AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms

• Administer and optimize ApptioOne, Cloudability, and other TBM tools

• Ingest, validate, and manage cloud billing, usage, and financial data

• Build and maintain cloud cost allocation, chargeback, and showback models

• Create dashboards, reports, KPIs, and financial insights for leadership and business stakeholders

• Analyze cloud spending trends and identify cost optimization opportunities

• Partner with Finance, FinOps, Engineering, and Architecture teams to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting

• Develop and improve governance, processes, controls, and documentation related to cloud financial management

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cloud investment planning activities

• Drive adoption of TBM and FinOps best practices across the organization

• 5+ years of experience in Technology Business Management (TBM), IT Finance, FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or a related discipline

• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Apptio solutions, including:

• ApptioOne (Cost Transparency)

• Cloudability

• Strong understanding of Apptio from a TBM and IT financial management perspective

• Experience designing and supporting cloud cost allocation, showback, and chargeback models

• Proven ability to interpret cloud usage and spend data and accurately allocate costs across business units

• Experience integrating cloud billing, usage, financial, CMDB, and operational data sources into Apptio

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP

• Highly process-oriented with experience establishing controls, documenting processes, and building repeatable governance frameworks

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience partnering with and presenting to both technical and business audiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field * Apptio Certified Professional

• Technology Business Management Accreditation (TBMA)

• FinOps Certified Practitioner or Professional

• Experience with AI-related cloud spend reporting and governance

• Experience with Apptio Planning & Budgeting modules
