Job description

The Systems Phase Analyst supports the Systems Manager in performing daily system and data-related tasks that enable the Operations, Build, and Sales teams to work efficiently within their assigned phase. This role ensures that product details, material information, schedules, options, and system data within the ERP are accurate, consistent, and clearly communicated to employees, vendors, and trade partners across their assigned phase., Data Accuracy & System Integrity

  • Validate and maintain accurate data for products, materials, schedules, and other critical information shared with internal teams, vendors, and trades.
  • Monitor data quality and generate regular reports to identify and correct inconsistencies within the ERP system.
  • Maintain material lists and oversee system responsibilities for the assigned phase, ensuring alignment with field requirements and updated construction practices.
  • Follow and help maintain data standards, naming conventions, and data-entry guidelines within their assigned phase.
  • Perform routine data-quality checks to prevent duplication, outdated information, or configuration errors.
  • Support the creation and testing of validation rules or workflows to ensure data integrity before changes go live.

User Support & Cross-Department Enablement

  • Serve as a point of contact within their assigned phase for user questions and system issues, troubleshooting problems and coordinating with IT or vendors as needed.
  • Help ensure teams within their assigned phase can effectively utilize the ERP system and company database, maintaining clear, proactive communication on system-related processes and updates.

Material, Schedule & Option Management

  • Manage and maintain building material information within the ERP system, including updates tied to product or material changes, and audit material lists across plans, elevations, and options for consistency within their assigned phase.
  • Perform regular reviews of material requirements and order materials for homes within the assigned phase.
  • Maintain and edit construction schedules and options within the ERP system to support Build and Sales team needs.
  • Ensure schedules, materials, and options remain aligned with operational and sales workflows.

Workflow, Process Improvement & Change Support

  • Map out current workflows to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improving processes and efficiency within their assigned phase.
  • Collaborate with departments to redesign or streamline workflows and reduce manual work.
  • Participate in system enhancement projects and process improvement initiatives, including testing and validating new features before deployment.

Reporting & Auditing

  • Generate routine reporting that highlights data concerns, discrepancies, or needed corrections.
  • Conduct audits to validate accuracy of material lists, schedules, options, system setups, and workflows within their assigned phase.

Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate skill in Excel.
  • Ability to learn new software and utilize internal ERP system
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to understand mathematical equations
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints and floorplans, and working knowledge of basic materials and methods used by trade partners, highly desired.
  • Self-motivated and the ability to solve problems effectively
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Works in temperature-controlled office environment, with low noise levels
  • Prolonged periods of sitting required
  • Rarely required to walk, stand, lift, climb, pull, or push objects weighing up to 25 pounds
