Software Test Engineer

• Execute and maintain test procedures and test cases for new and existing products
• Performs test in accordance with approved test plan/procedure and applicable policies
• Report and manage defects
• Regression test software fixes for new and existing products
• Participate in Requirements and Functional Specifications reviews of new features and verify these requirements are reflected in the test specifications
• Document, troubleshoot and follow up on issues found during testing
• Actively work with other members of the team to constantly improve the process, tools and effectiveness of the team
• Assist Development with replicating and debugging problems

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years experience developing and maintaining software test documentation
• 3+ years experience with test and validate to ensure software meets operational and functional requirements, * Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of directly related work experience OR 13+ years of related, relevant experience
• Experience with test or system integration
• Experience with software configuration management tools such as Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps
• Experience writing and analyzing test procedures and software requirements
• Automated test experience
• Understanding of Mission Planning Software usage
• Experience with OFP (Operational Flight Program) SIL (System Integration Lab) testing, This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee., Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required, This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Summary base pay range $86,000 - $97,600
