Responsibilities

  • You will design and implement application software for precision instrumentation on the Windows platform
  • You will manage software development projects from concept to delivery

The ideal candidate is a seasoned software engineer with a deep .NET background and hands-on experience in instrumentation or device-level programming.   • You must be a US Permanent Resident or US Citizen, as visa sponsorship is not available
  • You need a minimum of five years of software development experience in Microsoft .Net Framework
  • You bring at least three years of experience with two of the following: Linux, Python, or .Net Core
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • You are able to work on-site in Wakefield, Massachusetts, with no remote option
  • You have solid experience in instrumentation development, and any firmware exposure is a plus
  • You demonstrate strong object-oriented programming skills and a detail-oriented mindset, * Experience or knowledge of optics, photonics, or image processing is highly desirable
  • You have worked with open-source software packages like OpenCV or LibGD
  • Firmware development experience is a strong plus
  • Strong mathematical aptitude sets you apart, as many of our systems require algorithmic thinking
  • You are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn new technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills help you interface with engineers and customers
