Job description

Blu Omega is seeking a Salesforce Release Lead to support a federal program focused on mission area. This role operates remotely and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing deployments across multiple Salesforce environments, ensuring high quality, repeatable, and compliant release processes. The position requires experience supporting Salesforce release management within a government environment., * Plan, coordinate, and execute Salesforce deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

  • Manage deployment activities using Copado, including promotions, merges, validations, conflict resolution, and pipeline governance.
  • Execute Salesforce DX workflows, including scratch org creation, metadata management, unlocked package development, versioning, and deployment.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive deployment plans and schedules, incorporating risk management and contingency strategies.
  • Establish and enforce release management standards, branching strategies, environment usage guidelines, and quality controls.
  • Support deployments across various Salesforce systems, including integrations with APIs and external services.
  • Lead and mentor deployment teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and communicate deployment strategies and risks effectively.

Requirements

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination Work Authorization: U.S. or Green Card holder (U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required as a precondition of employment), * Hands-on experience deploying Salesforce solutions using Copado.

  • Strong experience with Salesforce DX and Unlocked Packages for release management.
  • Proven leadership supporting deployment teams for complex IT systems.
  • Experience creating deployment plans and managing release activities across multiple environments.
  • Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in multi-environment Salesforce orgs (Dev, QA, UAT, PreProd, Prod).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in government, healthcare, or large enterprise Salesforce environments.
  • Familiarity with automated testing integration within release pipelines.
  • Experience coordinating distributed teams and managing large-scale releases.

Benefits & conditions

Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
