Sr Data Scientist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to help drive the organization’s next generation of analytics and Artificial Intelligence initiatives. This individual will partner closely with business leaders and technical teams to identify opportunities where advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI can create measurable business value. The role combines deep analytical expertise with strong business acumen, helping transform ideas into practical solutions that improve decision making, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes. The successful candidate will play a key role in exploring emerging AI capabilities while supporting the company’s broader data transformation journey.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-impact analytics and AI opportunities.

• Develop predictive models, machine learning solutions, and AI-powered applications.

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical business use cases.

• Deliver insights and recommendations that support strategic business decisions.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and scalable.

• Design experiments and proof-of-concepts to validate business value.

• Present findings and recommendations to technical and executive audiences.

• Assist in establishing best practices for AI and advanced analytics initiatives.

Experience measuring model performance and business impact.

AI & Generative AI

• Understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, Copilot technologies, AI agents, and emerging AI capabilities.

• Experience evaluating AI use cases and identifying practical applications.

• Ability to rapidly prototype and validate AI-driven solutions.

• Knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval architectures, and AI-assisted business workflows.

Business Problem Solving

• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to identify opportunities.

• Translate ambiguous business challenges into data science solutions.

• Prioritize initiatives based on business value and ROI.

• Focus on measurable outcomes rather than technical experimentation.

Data Visualization & Storytelling

• Ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Develop dashboards, analytical presentations, and executive-ready insights.

• Drive adoption of data-driven decision making.

Microsoft Data & Analytics Ecosystem

• Experience working within Microsoft-centric environments.

• Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI services, Azure Data Platform technologies, and enterprise reporting tools.

• Understanding of how data science solutions integrate into broader data engineering and analytics frameworks., large language model, Generative AI, Agentic AI, azure data platform, SQL, Power BI, Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong experience in machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling.

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Experience delivering measurable business outcomes from analytics initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI technologies.

• Experience building AI-driven products or business solutions.

• Experience within Microsoft Azure environments.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

• Retail, consumer products, manufacturing, or supply chain analytics experience.

• Experience operationalizing machine learning models in enterprise environments.
