Data, Systems & AI Lead / Consultant

• Review and map existing systems, data flows and reporting processes
• Help connect EPOS, stock, sales, wage, supplier and operational data
• Build or improve dashboards, reports and automation tools
• Identify opportunities to use AI for reporting, forecasting, data cleansing and decision support
• Support the development of repeatable data and systems services for Fresh Retail clients
• Work with internal teams, software providers and external developers where required

• Strong Excel, Power Query, Power BI or similar reporting experience
• Understanding of APIs, databases, system integrations and automation tools
• Experience working with retail, hospitality, food, EPOS or operational data
• Practical knowledge of AI tools and how they can improve business processes
• Ability to explain technical ideas clearly to non-technical people
• Commercial, hands-on and solution-focused approach

Fresh Retail Group works with farm shops, food halls and independent retailers to improve performance through better systems, data, reporting and operational processes. We are looking for a practical, commercially minded Data, Systems & AI Lead to help us connect systems, automate reporting and develop smarter tools for our business and clients.

This role would suit someone who understands business systems, data integration, dashboards, automation and practical AI use - not just theory.
