Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead Tricentis Tosca OSV (Service Virtualization) Architect to lead the design and execution of a Proof of Concept (POC) focused on Tosca Orchestrated Service Virtualization (OSV). This is a highly technical, hands-on leadership role responsible for building scalable virtual services that remove testing dependencies on unavailable backend systems, third-party APIs, and microservices. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Tricentis Tosca OSV, API virtualization, and QA automation architecture while mentoring a small team of automation engineers., * Lead the architecture and implementation of a Tosca OSV Proof of Concept (POC).

  • Design and build scalable virtual services using Tricentis Tosca OSV.
  • Create stateful service virtualization environments for REST and SOAP services.
  • Configure Tosca OSV Monitor, Tosca Commander (Technical View), and Tosca API Scan.
  • Virtualize backend services, third-party APIs, and dependent microservices.
  • Implement payload correlation, token management, request-response mapping, and data-driven virtualization.
  • Integrate service virtualization into CI/CD and continuous testing pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot complex API and environment dependency issues.
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
  • Mentor QA Automation Engineers and establish service virtualization best practices.
  • Drive technical decisions and deliver a successful POC with production-ready recommendations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of QA Automation and Test Architecture experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca.
  • Strong expertise in Tosca Orchestrated Service Virtualization (OSV).
  • Experience with:

  • Tosca OSV Monitor
  • Tosca Commander (Technical View)
  • Tosca API Scan

Strong understanding of:

  • REST APIs
  • SOAP Web Services
  • JSON/XML
  • HTTP/HTTPS

Experience with:

  • OAuth
  • JWT Tokens
  • Payload Correlation
  • Stateful Virtual Services

Hands-on experience with message queues such as Kafka, IBM MQ, or RabbitMQ.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Experience integrating Tosca with CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tricentis Automation Specialist Level 1 (AS1)
  • Tricentis Automation Specialist Level 2 (AS2)
  • Tricentis Certified OSV Practitioner
  • Tricentis Certified OSV Architect
  • Experience leading technical POCs and mentoring QA Automation teams.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • 100% Onsite in Las Vegas, NV (Monday Friday).
  • Candidates must have strong hands-on Tricentis Tosca OSV experience. General Tosca Automation experience alone will not be sufficient.
