This role focuses on enabling delivery, maintaining program processes, and supporting coordination across product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
This is an entry-level role designed to build foundational program management skills, with exposure to large-scale, cross-functional technology programs.
This role reports to the Director of Project Management and partners closely with Technical Program Managers (TPMs), Product Managers, and Engineering teams.
About The Role
As a Technical Program Manager Analyst I at Mastercard, you will:

Support the planning and execution of technology programs by helping coordinate work across product, engineering, and business teams

Assist in maintaining program structure, including visibility into timelines, dependencies, risks, and overall delivery health

Partner within the Technical Program Managers team to ensure alignment across teams, processes, and systems, helping close gaps that could impact execution

Contribute to consistent program operations by supporting governance, intake, and release processes, and ensuring teams are following established standards

Operate within an Agile environment, supporting team execution and helping drive alignment around priorities and delivery expectations

Facilitate communication across stakeholders and help ensure information flows effectively across the program

Support opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen how teams work together
Requirements

Strong interest in technology and a desire to build foundational program management skills; bonus if you are interested in marketing technology and digital experiences!

Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to track multiple priorities and keep work moving forward

Clear and effective communicator, comfortable working across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Collaborative mindset, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities

Ability to manage work independently while also partnering closely with others for guidance and alignment

Exposure to Agile ways of working or interest in learning Agile delivery practices

Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret information and translate it into actionable insights

Experience with core tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, collaboration tools like Confluence or Jira) is a plus
Benefits & conditions
In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Pay Ranges
Atlanta, Georgia: $61,000 - $102,000 USD
