Job description
IT Project Manager Pharma (Hybrid Lawrenceville, NJ) We are seeking an IT Project Manager for a global pharmaceutical client. The focus of the role is to lead delivery of a large-scale, multi-region Foundational Data Transformation program migrating fragmented commercial pharma data warehouses onto a governed Databricks platform. The program consolidates enterprise data sources (sales, market access, patient services, omni-channel, and master data) into standardized, AI-ready data products across the US, EU, and other global markets, and rebuilds existing analytics pipelines to new data modeling standards. This is a 40-hour per week, 12-month contract (extensions possible), 50% onsite role at the clientās office in Lawrenceville, NJ. Work Schedule: Mon-Fri Standard Hours This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered., Own the integrated program plan across workstreams and track delivery health, milestones, and velocity. Drive 2-week sprint cadence: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review/demo, and retrospectives; ensure user stories are logged, estimated, and tracked to ādefinition of doneā in JIRA Lead cross-functional teams to deliver digital and IT initiatives that align with business and Digital Capability objectives. Manage project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery for small- to medium-sized technology projects. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies. Monitor project performance, financial health, dependencies, risks, and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed. Provide regular project status updates and executive reporting to sponsors and stakeholders. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful project execution. Manage vendor relationships, deliverables, budgets, and contractual commitments. Apply Agile, Waterfall, SDLC, and Project Management Framework (PMF) best practices to drive consistent project delivery. Promote continuous improvement and project management maturity across the organization.
Requirements
8+ years of experience managing IT or digital projects preferably pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences is required. Hands-on experience running Agile/Scrum delivery at scale: sprint planning, backlog management, PI planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Experience managing data platform or data warehouse migration programs (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent cloud data platforms). Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence for backlog management, RAID tracking, and documentation. Strong project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams. Experience coordinating globally distributed teams across multiple time zones PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification is preferred. Demonstrated experience managing programs in the pharmaceutical / life sciences industry, specifically within Commercial data & analytics (sales, market access, patient services, or omni-channel data domains is preferred. Experience with GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV), and SDLC processes is preferred. Familiarity with enterprise technologies, cloud platforms, data and analytics, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred. Experience managing offshore/onshore blended delivery teams Bachelorās degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field is required.
