Mission Support SME IV 1

Serco is excited to support the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services (AFMS3) contract. The primary purpose of this contract is to ensure that the Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and External Partner Agencies maintain cutting-edge Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities that are secure, interoperable, and efficient. The contractor will provide comprehensive support and innovative solutions that enable the continuous evolution and enhancement of M&S systems, ensuring that the DAF and DoD can effectively prepare for and execute their missions with the highest level of readiness and lethality.To be successful in this role you will have:

Must have an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.

In this role you may perform many or all of the following functions:

• Provide specialized technical and operational expertise to support the planning and execution of LVC M&S exercises and events, including computer-assisted demonstrations, experiments, tests, mission rehearsals, evaluations, and constructive simulation.
• Facilitate pre-execution planning meetings for each LVC M&S exercise/event as part of the Distributed Mission Operations.
• Actively monitor and report on simulation progress to ensure realistic training exercises/events for the intended audience.
• Support the Government by participating in the testing phases to ensure the specified federation in support of the exercise/event utilizes model(s)/simulation(s) designed to train the intended trainee.
• Support VV&A process requirements for the AF and the LVC M&S Community.
• Provide technical services for LVC M&S capabilities that include specialized technical support for conducting an exercise/event and operating and maintaining systems for LVC M&S capability demonstrations.
• Support the development of real-world scenarios for M&S training, including script development and related materials, adhering to Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) processes.
• Prepare, document, and maintain AARs for each exercise/event.
• Perform roleplay functions (White Force) during the execution of exercises and training events at all levels from station operator to exercise director.

• A U.S. citizenship Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of War (DoW) security clearance (Secret or higher may be required for some roles).

• The ability to telecommute (Part-time).

• A Bachelor’s degree (or additional years of relevant experience in technical, engineering, cybersecurity, or program management fields in lieu of degree) Prior experience supporting AFMS, or other DoD M&S programs is strongly desired

• Provides operational insight and assists in the development and prioritization of requirements, strategy development, capability assessments, analysis of alternatives, documentation development and analysis. Makes recommendations and implements opportunities to mitigate risk.
• The ability to travel 25%

Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations.
