Requirements

Vantor is seeking a motivated Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of automated monitoring, metrics data collection, and real time dashboards within a mission-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Linux-based systems, scripting with Bash, and building operational dashboards using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). This role is well-suited for a junior to mid-level engineer looking to expand their automation and observability expertise while supporting critical national security missions., * Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Security+ Certification
  • 2-5 years of experience in systems engineering, automation, DevOps, software development or related technical roles.
  • Experience working with Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and system administration tasks.
  • Experience with the ELK Stack, including:
  • Elasticsearch
  • Kibana dashboard development
  • Logstash or data ingestion pipelines
  • Familiarity with system monitoring, log aggregation, and operational analytics.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, operating systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
  • Experience supporting cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working in DoD, Intelligence Community, or other classified environments.
  • Experience working in Agile development.
