Job description

The Data Analyst supports data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets within a government contracting environment. This role is responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights, developing reports and visualizations, and supporting business and financial operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders., * Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business decisions
  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Support financial and operational reporting requirements
  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver solutions
  • Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
  • Assist in developing data models and automated reporting processes
  • Prepare and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable government regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, * Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background and credit check
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance, This position may be performed in an office or government site environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a collaborative, deadline-driven setting.
