Senior Databricks Data Engineer

Design, develop, and optimize scalable data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks.

Build and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark.

Implement Lakehouse architecture using Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture.

Develop and manage Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines (DLT).

Build Databricks SQL Dashboards and Databricks Apps.

Implement data governance, quality, validation, and security frameworks.

Optimize workload performance, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise analytics solutions.

12+ years of overall IT experience.

8+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks.

Strong experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark.

Expertise in Azure Databricks and Lakehouse architecture.

Experience with Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

Experience with Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines (DLT).

Experience with Lakeflow Jobs / Databricks Workflows or Apache Airflow.

Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schemas).

8+ years of SQL and Python (Scala is a plus).

Experience developing Databricks SQL Dashboards and Databricks Apps.

Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Security.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Git-based workflows.

Databricks Certified Data Engineer (Associate/Professional) - Mandatory.
