Job description

About the role The Insights Analyst plays a crucial role in our analytics team, responsible for turning vast amounts of healthcare data into meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions, enhance product development, and improve user experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of data analysis and the healthcare industry, as well as the ability to lead projects and communicate findings effectively across the organization. Location: This position may work remotely anywhere in the United States of America or may work hybrid from our Dublin, Ohio location. What you’ll do (Essential Responsibilities)

  • Work with the insights analysis team in mining complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that have a direct impact on business outcomes and healthcare delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, operations, and engineering, to understand business needs and develop analytical frameworks that support data-driven decision-making
  • Design and implement robust analytics methodologies, leveraging statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that visualize key metrics and insights for internal stakeholders, ensuring they are accessible and understandable for decision-making purposes.
  • Drive the adoption of analytics and insights across the organization, fostering a culture of data literacy and informed decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and analytics best practices to continuously improve the team’s capabilities and the value of insights provided to the business.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance standards are upheld in all analytics practices, particularly those relevant to the healthcare industry.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with at least 2 years in an analyst role within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in analytics tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with analyzing healthcare claims data
  • Experience using generative AI tools to support data analysis, coding, workflow automation, and insight development, with an understanding of responsible AI practices in a healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data sets into clear, compelling insights that drive strategic business decisions.
  • Proven ability to operate within ambiguity, create structure, and proactively drive initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and persuasive manner to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including familiarity with clinical, operational, and financial data.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and statistical analysis methods.
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements relevant to the healthcare industry, such as HIPAA.
  • Strong personal accountability, integrity, a commitment to upholding Quantum Health’s values, ethics, and data privacy requirements.
  • Manage and protect company and member data by working within company ethics, policies, and guidelines
