Job description
Waypoint’s client is seeking a Senior Personnel Security Analyst to provide personnel security administration and executive-level security support in a complex, fast-paced classified environment. The selected candidate will manage clearance, access, indoctrination, and personnel security processes in accordance with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community policies., * Process personnel security actions for civilian, military, contractor, IPA, and detailed personnel.
- Verify clearance eligibility, access, and investigation status using DISS and other authorized security databases.
- Process clearance passing, visit authorization requests, CAC applications, and building access requests.
- Conduct security in-processing, out-processing, indoctrinations, debriefings, and SCI access support.
- Provide guidance regarding clearance eligibility, reporting requirements, foreign travel, adverse information, and continuous vetting responsibilities.
- Maintain accurate personnel security records, files, access rosters, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with security managers, government leadership, human resources, contracting personnel, and external security offices.
- Research and resolve complex clearance, access, and personnel security issues.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, briefings, and status updates for executive-level stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with DoDI 5200.02, ICD 704, SEAD requirements, and applicable DoD and Intelligence Community policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of ten years of recent and relevant personnel security, security administration, or related DoD/IC security experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting executive-level principals in a high-tempo environment.
- Hands-on experience using DISS and processing clearance, access, indoctrination, and personnel security actions.
- Experience supporting SCI programs and classified personnel security operations.
- Working knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community personnel security regulations and adjudicative processes.
- Strong written communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information and multiple competing priorities with limited supervision.
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility., * Experience supporting senior DoD, Intelligence Community, or executive-level organizations.
- Familiarity with continuous vetting, Trusted Workforce requirements, and Security Executive Agent Directives.
- Experience with SCI nominations, indoctrinations, access certifications, and clearance reciprocity.
- Knowledge of CAC, visit authorization, foreign travel, incident reporting, and adverse information procedures.
- Experience developing personnel security metrics, reports, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Familiarity with industrial security, information security, or physical security processes.
