Job description

Analyst - Technical Records is responsible for implementation of procedures and controls established within department or responsible functional group (or fleet type), in accordance with FAA, GMM and department DOP regulations, policies and procedures. Responsible for the overall major component research, updates, audits and accuracy of all technical maintenance records. Responsible for ensuring conciseness and accuracy in the packaging and retention of technical documentation for the exit. Ensure that individual transactions and decisions result in a complete and accurate mainframe tracking system, maintenance compliance records and status reports; that are maintained in accordance with the FAA, corporate and department retention policies.

  • The ability to comprehend information from manuals and documents such as the Illustrated Parts Catalogs, General Maintenance Manual, Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engineering Authorizations and Engineering Change Request Approvals
  • Apply knowledge related to aircraft configuration, components, and major assemblies to establish and manage control programs, ensuring accurate effectivity and adherence to time controls
  • Develop, establish, and maintain internal technical procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring the integrity and reliability of aircraft maintenance processes
  • Translate and integrate these controls into the current maintenance program language, specifically within an M&E system
  • Understand and implement technical procedures as per airframe, assembly, and component specifications
  • Manage forecasting activities by identifying potential risks and trends, along with implementing corrective actions to proactively mitigate any issues that may arise
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively within a team setting, and engage constructively with other technical groups (Engineering, MX Programs, etc.) and leadership
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks to ensure the quality, integrity, and completeness of maintenance records in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment
  • Maintain availability to support 24/7 airline operations, including flexibility to work various shifts such as nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure uninterrupted and reliable service
  • Attend mandatory planning/training/project meetings as necessary which may require up to 10% travel to various domestic and/or international locations and necessitate a valid passport (or the ability to obtain a valid passport) to facilitate international travel obligations if needed

Requirements

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • SIDA badge required
  • RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
  • 2 years of aviation experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMs, Word, SharePoint)
  • Experience using automated workflow tools
  • Proficiency in concurrent use of multiple computer applications
  • General understanding of aviation M&E systems
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $61,465.00 to $80,110.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
