Requirements

  • Proven commercial experience working as a DevOps Engineer within the Public Sector.
  • Active SC Clearance.
  • Strong experience with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), AWS, and high-availability Kubernetes environments (EKS/RKE) including load balancing and multi-site failover.
  • Proficient in containerisation and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Skilled in IaC and automation with Terraform, Ansible, and supporting cloud-native platform modernisation.
  • Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI), Git version control, and automated delivery practices.
  • Experienced with monitoring and observability tooling such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Knowledge of data and streaming technologies including Kafka, MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, plus PKI, secrets management, and IAM.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

  • Puppet, KeyCloak, Vault, and experience supporting microservice architectures.
  • Immediate availability.
