Job description
The IT Governance Consultant will provide support to the clients Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) with the management of their enterprise IT governance program. This program supports the modernization, security, and operational efficiency of the clients IT systems. This role plays a key part in aligning IT investments with organizational strategy, improving technology governance, and ensuring IT assets are protected and effectively utilized.
The consultant will be required to manage and refine governance processes, track performance metrics, and support informed resource allocation decisions. Additionally, the consultant will provide stakeholder collaboration and engagement to prepare and facilitate the client’s Technology Resource Board (TRB) meetings on a monthly basis.
This role may be required to support additional functions on an as-needed basis, including contributing to the Mobile Applications Review project, which modernizes and evolves the client’s mobile application review practice through structured technology oversight, integrated risk management, and continuous post-deployment monitoring to identify and address potential risks and compliance issues.
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
- US Citizenship is required.
- Associate’s degree minimum education and 5+ years of professional consulting experience (Educational requirement may be waived if the candidate has eight (8) or more years of experience.)
- Experience in IT governance and program/portfolio management
What Would Be Nice To Have :
- Client facing communication skills are essential
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerApps/Automate a plus)
Benefits & conditions
The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
