Job description
Join our dynamic team as a Telecommunications Technician III supporting the U.S. Air Force. In this onsite role, you will be instrumental in staging, configuring, and shipping network equipment to ensure mission success. Key responsibilities include performing basic router and switch configurations, maintaining and organizing network racks and cabinets, conducting inventory of network assets, and assisting with lab setup and maintenance. Collaborate closely with network engineers and project managers to meet tight deadlines, troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently, and uphold safety and security standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical military projects with minimal travel requirements.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years of networking/telecommunications experience, * 3+ years of experience in networking and telecommunications
- Hands-on experience with network hardware including routers and switches, with basic configuration and troubleshooting skills
- Proven ability in network equipment staging, shipping, and inventory management
- Strong lab support skills and experience collaborating with network engineers
- Relevant certifications or coursework in networking (preferred)
- Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required
- AAS degree or equivalent experience
