Job description

Samsung Ads is looking for a Senior Manager, Revenue Analytics & Data Solutions (RADS) to support the end-to-end data architecture and analytics for revenue and monetization reporting within Samsung Ads. Samsung Ads operates a billion-dollar advertising and media business across Samsung’s connected TV ecosystem. The RADS function serves as the analytical backbone for monetization, yield, and financial performance measurement, providing source-of-truth reporting that informs pricing decisions, revenue forecasting, and partnership economics across the organization. This role will re-engineer existing data processing workflows into proper database-layer solutions using Snowflake and dbt, creating clean, governed, and reusable datasets that serve as the single source of truth for revenue across the business. Beyond infrastructure, this person must develop a deep understanding of our monetization, yield optimization, and revenue mechanics to design data models that accurately capture business logic and serve the needs of finance, sales, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering fundamentals (SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt) with domain expertise in monetization, yield management, or revenue operations. The position requires someone comfortable inheriting complex legacy workflows, methodically untangling them, and rebuilding them correctly without breaking downstream reporting that the business relies on daily. Excellent communication skills are essential, as this person will be the bridge between technical data infrastructure and commercial revenue stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Audit and re-engineer existing data processing workflows into Snowflake/dbt, migrating visual transformations to proper SQL-based data models on the warehouse layer
  • Own and maintain revenue source-of-truth dashboards, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with finance and yield teams
  • Design dimensional data models for monetization and yield data that are BI-tool agnostic
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines and ensure consistent, scheduled refreshes
  • Partner with Yield and Pricing to translate revenue logic into accurate data transformations
  • Create curated, documented datasets that other teams can consume for their own reporting and analytical needs without depending on tribal knowledge
  • Implement data quality monitoring, validation checks, and alerting for revenue-critical pipelines
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support for monetization strategy questions
  • Document all data models, transformation logic, and business rules so that institutional knowledge is captured and maintainable by others

Requirements

  • BA/BS required
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex transformations and building data models from raw sources
  • Familiarity with Tableau Cloud or similar enterprise BI platforms
  • Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar cloud data warehouses
  • Experience with dbt or equivalent transformation frameworks
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development
  • Experience migrating legacy BI workflows to modern data stack architectures
  • Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills with ability to partner with finance, sales, and commercial teams
  • Comfortable inheriting legacy systems and methodically reverse-engineering business logic
