Job description

Zoom seeks a Developer Migration Specialist to work with Zoom’s biggest customers. In this role, you will work with new Zoom customers as they transition to Zoom technology to power their business’s video needs. This role includes the need for a deep understanding of many different programming languages and paradigms and the ability to problem-solve issues that arise during their migration process. This role will enable our biggest customers to transition to Zoom seamlessly., * Work directly with Zoom’s developer platform customers to provide your expertise and skills to enable smooth migrations from their legacy solution to Zoom’s developer platform.

  • Collaborate with 2nd-party engineering teams to design and implement Zoom’s technology into our customers’ technology stacks
  • Create and manage tools and processes that enable our customers to move to Zoom more efficiently
  • Be an expert on Zoom’s developer platform and its best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Zoom to improve our product, partner ecosystem, and core functionality to make sure our customers can be successful

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of developer advocacy, partner/sales engineering, software engineering, product management, or related experience.
  • Well-versed in JavaScript and client-side frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue.
  • Familiar with using SDKs and REST APIs.
  • The ability to explain in-depth technical concepts in a way that non-technical people will understand
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization workflows like OAuth2.0 and JWT tokens.
  • Be empathetic to our customers, understand their needs, and drive scalable solutions for them
  • Be able to take a problem, find the root cause, and deliver a solution
  • Understand and focus on what makes a great user interface and user experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of overall engineering/tech experience
  • Experience with Java, Kotlin, Swift, and Objective C
  • Experience with audio/video technology or SDKs

Benefits & conditions

$75,900.00

Maximum:

$175,600.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value., Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
