Job description

  • Roadmap & Execution Ownership: Drive the part of Product Tech Roadmap and oversee the full execution and enablement lifecycle for the VoIP, IPCC, UCaaS, SBCaaS , UC Management Tool Kit, OneTalk product suites.
  • Architecture & Technical Design: You are accountable for defining the Reference Architecture and updating/finalizing critical design documents by working with Engineering teams.
  • Requirements Translation: Serve as the technical authority responsible and accountable for documenting high-quality technical user stories and defining seamless service flows.
  • Lean Product Development (Risk & Scope Management): Take charge during development by managing delivery risks and issues, implementing corrective measures, and diligently tracking scope changes (schedule & resources) within the project.
  • Operational Excellence: Provide essential Tier 2 support and interface directly with Network engineering and Information Technology teams to ensure platform stability and scale., Where you’ll be workingIn this hybrid role, you’ll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

Requirements

We are seeking a seasoned leader with 8+ years of experience spanning both the technical and business facets of Advanced Communications, someone who thrives in a matrix environment. This role will act as the primary interface between Product Management and Engineering/Information technology teams. You will have end-to-end accountability for execution, field, and operations support for these critical product lines., If you are ready to drive innovation and lead the technical evolution of Verizon’s Advanced Communication offerings, I want you on my team., * Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Product and partner management experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree in IT, information systems, or engineering.
  • Experience in complex multi-tower solutions delivery.
  • Strong technical experience in GTS platforms and provisioning flows.
  • Strong technical experience in integrating telecom technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent executive presentation skills; comfortable presenting both technical and commercial business topics to peer teams and Sr. leadership.
  • Product development expertise with 5+ years of experience in delivering network products.
  • Must be able to lead and motivate project teams and meet specified deadlines.
  • Relevant work experience in technical product and/or technical network roles.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $141,000.00 - $270,000.00.
