  • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) lbs.

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide entry-level technical support to students and staff across Ida Public Schools.
  • Provide first level contact for basic user account, hardware, software, networking issues,

cloud services, such as Office 365 and Google Workplace, issues and questions.

  • Process help desk phone calls and tickets, communicate updates to technology staff and users.
  • Assist with inventory, maintenance, and deploying of Windows, Chromebooks, and tablet

devices.

  • Assist with warranty submissions and returns to expedite downtime on products or services.
  • Provide support to staff with daily tasks of maintaining the operational status of computers,

network, printers, and other technology related equipment in supporting the network.

  • Assist in the installation and configuration of technology equipment, such as telephones,

servers, computers, printers, scanners, monitors, and peripherals.

  • Assist in the planning, design, documentation, testing, support, and evaluation of new and

existing hardware and software.

  • Assists staff and students with Student Information System.
  • Assists with the administration of the District Website.
  • Assists with staff training and creating information instruction/training guides.
  • Assists in making recommendations on technology additions or changes.
  • Regular, predictable in-person attendance.
  • Adhere to guidelines and policies.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of significant education, training, certifications, and experience.

  • Experience as PC technician, preferred.
  • Experience in a K-12 or educational setting preferred.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, implementing, and repairing hardware and software.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Ability to relate well with people and provide good customer service in person and over the

phone.

  • Successful technology related work experience and specialist computer courses and training.
  • Google and Office 365 support experience desired.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and priorities.
  • Willingness to adjust hours within reason and be available for meetings, activities, training

Benefits & conditions

Pulled from the full job description Health insurance Paid time off, $16.00 to $20.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level); position includes health benefits approximately 60 days after date of hire and paid time off benefits after 90 day probation period.

Schedule:

Full-time position available immediately; 8 hours/day, year-round; 90-day probationary period
