Job description
The AWS Database Architect (I) will assist in the management and maintenance of our AWS environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of our cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and operate scalable and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Monitor and optimize AWS resources and services for performance and availability.
- Maintain documentation of AWS infrastructure, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Assist in implementing security measures, including IAM policies and compliance standards.
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity.
- Use automation tools and scripting languages to streamline deployment processes.
- Collaborate internally and externally to support application deployments in the AWS environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1 or more years of hands-on experience managing AWS environments
- 3 or more years experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
- 3 or more years experience with basic scripting knowledge in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate or equivalent.
