SAP s/4hana Finance & Treasury Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP consultant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Treasury within a Public Sector environment. This role will support implementation, optimization, operational readiness, and migration initiatives related to statewide ERP system.

We operates in a fast-paced team environment focused on modernizing platforms and practices. This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a functional team supporting enterprise-wide SAP solutions for state government business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer SAP FI and Treasury functionality, including ancillary applications utilized by the state.

• Provide services related to process design, development, testing, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise-wide software.

• Develop current-state and future-state process documentation following documentation management standards.

• Provide best-practice recommendations for public sector financial and treasury operations.

• Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in testing SAP software programs and applications.

• Provide SAP Finance and Treasury support including analysis, development, testing, tracking, and issue resolution.

• Partner with team leaders, business process owners, and leadership to validate and approve documentation.

• Assist with SAP upgrades, support packs, OSS notes, troubleshooting, and development of test plans.

• Identify impacts from ECC to S/4HANA changes related to Finance and Treasury.

• Develop and execute unit tests, including test script development.

• Assist with defining hardware specifications and the current SCEIS landscape for additional functionality implementations.

• Assist with creation of high-level implementation roadmaps.

• Mentor less experienced team members on SAP programming concepts and tools.

• Participate in team activities and planning initiatives.

• Provide after-hours SAP system support as needed.

• Demonstrate strong communication, time management, and task prioritization skills.

• 7+ years of SAP Finance or Treasury/Cash Management experience.

• 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience.

• 7+ years of ECC FI module experience.

• 10+ years of practical experience with SAP upgrades, OSS notes, support packs, and troubleshooting.

• 10+ years of SAP experience within the Public Sector.

• 7+ years of experience in budgeting, appropriations, grants, and governmental accounting.

• Experience developing process documentation for current-state and future-state environments.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate across functional teams and leadership groups.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Visio, and Project.

• Experience leading workshops and working with executive leadership.

• Excellent leadership skills.
