Junior-level Systems Engineers support the design, analysis, integration, and sustainment of enterprise systems across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agency environments. Working alongside senior engineers and government stakeholders, this role contributes to systems engineering activities that support reliable, resilient, and mission-critical GEOINT capabilities across complex system-of-systems architectures.

This position supports requirements analysis, systems integration, technical planning, and engineering assessments within cloud-enabled and distributed environments to help ensure timely and accurate mission operations.

  • Support systems engineering activities across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency environments
  • Assist with requirements engineering, systems integration, test and evaluation, reliability, resiliency, and maintainability efforts
  • Support the analysis and allocation of requirements across systems architecture components and programs
  • Assist in performing systems integration activities across enterprise environments

  • Assist with capturing and translating mission and customer requirements into technical solutions and system capabilities
  • Support requirements traceability, architecture analysis, workflow evaluation, and scheduling assessments
  • Contribute to solution designs based on operational requirements and emerging technologies
  • Assist with cloud service capability assessments and system improvement initiatives

  • Support Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Action (CoA) evaluations, trade studies, and engineering assessments
  • Assist with strategic technical planning, project coordination, risk management, and interface design activities
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and government stakeholders to support mission objectives and enterprise modernization efforts

This role is ideal for an early-career systems engineer with a strong technical foundation and an interest in supporting complex, mission-critical enterprise environments. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and eager to develop experience across systems engineering, integration, and enterprise architecture within the GEOINT and Intelligence Community mission space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical/STEM field including Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline
  • 4 additional years’ of equivalent junior-level Systems Engineering experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Junior-level systems engineering experience in government or industry environments
  • TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly

  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, tools, and languages
  • Familiarity with Software Development Frameworks and modern system development practices
  • Experience supporting cloud-enabled or distributed enterprise systems environments
