Database Engineer - Journeyman

The Database Engineer - Journeyman will design, implement, and optimize database systems that support enterprise-scale data environments. This role focuses on performance, reliability, security, and availability while partnering with engineering teams to integrate databases into data pipelines and applications.

This position supports database administration, backup and recovery, high availability, automation, and capacity planning. The role also helps establish standards and documentation that strengthen resilience and operational readiness across the data environment.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> At least 4 years of database engineering or database administration experience in complex environments.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Demonstrated experience with database design, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Experience supporting database integration with data pipelines or application environments.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Experience with database monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle support., + p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Experience with cloud-managed databases such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL technologies.
