Cyber Systems Administrator - Level 3 - Huntsville, AL

This position is for a Principal Cyber Systems Administrator to support the IFICS Data Terminal (IDT) product team on the Ground Based Mid-course Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program. The candidate should have experience taking on progressively challenging responsibilities, demonstrating initiative, and driving innovative solutions. They should be recognized as a self-starter with a proven ability to lead teams, learn quickly, and deliver results in dynamic environments., Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 5 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience with Systems Administration for Linux Operating Systems such as RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

Must have a DOD 8140 IAT Level II certification or higher (ex: Security + CE)

Experience with various windows and Red Hat scripting using tools such as Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc.

U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Linux Certifications (Linux+, RHCSA, RHCE)

Experience with DevOps architecture such as Kubernetes, Nexus, Docker, GitLab, etc.

Experience with security compliance and related security scanning products (ACAS)

Experience in enterprise backup and restore solutions, storage area network (SAN), and network attached storage (NAS)

Experience with network administration and related infrastructure

Experience with hardware installation and maintenance to include firmware upgrades

Vast experience with both Windows and Linux scripting languages
