Windows Systems Administrator

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Windows Systems Administrator to join our client’s support team hybrid in Cambridge, MA This is a 1-year Contract with possible annual extensions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in an enterprise environment. The tech will also provide support to client employees, both remote and local, to ensure the seamless operation of technology systems and equipment., * Responsible for all functions related to server both OS and hardware

• Provide (remote) first / second-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, escalating problems as needed
• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures
• Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in IT support

• Minimum 5 to 7+ years of experience supporting Windows servers required
• Must have hardware, software, raid config, and patching experience
• Proven experience in IT support or a related role in an enterprise environment
• Proficient in configuring and maintaining Windows operating systems, with additional knowledge of Linux / WSL
• MacOS knowledge as a plus
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and hardware
• Excellent remote troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with IT security practices and protocols
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regulated environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The hourly rate for this position is between $37.50 - $50.00 per hour.
