Information Security Consultant

• Provide services such as IT Risk Assessment, IT Audit, Policy Development, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning, Incident response Planning, Security Awareness Training, IT Strategic Planning, Ransomware Assessment, etc.
• Support clients in integrating AI within current environments.
• Advise clients on developing and implementing robust information security strategies aligned with industry best practices.
• Assist and consult clients through regulatory IT examination processes.
• Participate in meetings to explain report findings.
• Convey technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical customers, including Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
• Facilitate project management within accounts through regular communication and relationship-building.
• Assists with IT Audits as necessary.
• Educate customers on SBS services processes, methodologies, and TRAC software modules.
• Adapt to changing needs, new regulations, and internal business efficiencies.
• Deliver reports and communications in a timely manner

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in VPN?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Three years in Cybersecurity/Information Security Consulting, Audit, IT Managed Services, or equivalent educational qualifications.

• Graduate degree in Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Security, Cyber Operations, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or similar.
• Preferred experience with U.S.-based small to medium-sized Banking Institutions.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Additional Details: This is a full-time position. This role would require occasional travel. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. On rare occasions, this position may require some after-work hours due to workload or tight deadline.

Working Conditions Primarily remote-based with some travel required. The role involves working with management, various business units, and clients to protect data and information from cyber-attacks.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to sit, use keyboard and mouse (or alternative input device), use telephone, and drive. Employee will frequently lift 0-10 lbs and occasionally lift, up to 50 lbs.

Travel This position requires up to 25% travel. Valid driver’s license required. Must also qualify for SBS insurance coverage.
