System Engineer

Due to new manufacturing structure (3rd party manufacturer site transfer from Austria to Slovakia) additional quality tasks will have to be covered by EUROLyser current team.

In order to release the resources from the current team we re-allocate some of their tasks to this new position to free up highly experienced staff for critical tasks related to the upcoming manufacturing transfer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Agendas in information and data safety (ISO 27001)
• Creation, maintenance and development of technical documentation
• Implementation of IT security quidelines
• Installation, configuration and implementation of hardware and software components
• Implementation and maintenance of the communication infrastructure
• Serveradministration
• Internal IT support
• Execution of backup and recovery processes
• Participation in diverse IT projects (EUROLyser/Antech/MARS)
• Purchasing of hardware and software components, The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually low. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.

• Very good knowledge of MS Windows servers, MS Windows, MS Office and networks
• Knowledge of Linux beneficial
• Self-reliant, reliable and responsible way of working
