Test Specialist

As a Test Specialist at Polteq, you will help our clients increase the quality of their IT systems at all stages of the software development lifecycle. This allows a faster transition to production resulting in better quality. As a Test Specialist, you will work at the top-200 Dutch companies through Polteq. Software, apps, mobile devices and websites: we test it all. We are the specialist in testing and software quality for a reason. What will you do? As a Test Specialist, you independently test whether the delivered software meets all requirements and specifications and you know which test cases you need to be able to test this. You also independently determine when outcomes of functionalities/calculations are good. In addition, you ensure that delivered products meet quality requirements and make the right trade-off between quality, time and cost. You will perform all tasks around the testing of “user stories” independently, including the relationships between components and process steps and including the coordination around tests performed by third parties (such as Production Acceptance Testing). You will direct the preparation and execution of tests and automate regression testing at the team level. You will also guide team members in performing test-related activities and assist the business.
