Job description

The RoleThis is a pivotal, execution focused role within our digital product team, reporting to the Head of Digital Product. You will bridge the gap between agreed product priorities and shipped digital product, owning the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for new site features, technical projects, and operational integrations.Instead of high-level strategy, your focus will be on the ‘how’: gathering detailed requirements, writing bulletproof user stories, managing project timelines, and leading the QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes. You will also serve as the primary technical point of contact for day-to-day site health and incident management. You are accountable for turning agreed priorities into working, tested and released digital products on time and to high quality. Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequirements & Business Analysis: Partner with Ecommerce Trading, Retail, and Marketing teams to agreed product requirements into highly detailed technical specifications, functional requirements, and developer-ready Jira user stories.Delivery: Lead execution of agreed projects for example launching new carrier/locker delivery methods and site performance/speed optimisation programmes against timelines and scope agreed with the Head of Digital Product.End-to-End QA Testing: Own the testing lifecycle for digital projects. This includes writing test scripts, executing manual regression testing, conducting cross-device/mobile responsiveness checks, and verifying that back-end data (orders, payment gateways, inventory) flows accurately.UAT & Stakeholder Sign-off: Structure and lead User Acceptance Testing sessions with business stakeholders, ensuring that deliverables meet the original business requirements and are defect-free before deployment.Incident Management & Triage: Act as the central triage point for critical site bugs. Investigate issues to isolate whether they are user error, edge cases, or core system failures, and raise precise tickets for developers with clear ‘steps to reproduce’ and data logs.Release & Timeline Management: Co-ordinate release schedules with external development partners and eCommerce platform providers, communicating regular, clear project status updates to the wider business.

Requirements

What are we looking for from you?3+ Years of Experience: Proven track record as a Digital Project Manager, Business Analyst, or Delivery-focused Product Manager, specifically within a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment.Strong BA & Agile Skills: Expert-level capability in gathering technical requirements, drafting functional specs, and managing backlogs within Jira or Confluence.Hands-on QA/Testing Experience: Comfortable writing test cases and getting stuck into manual system, regression, and data-flow testing.Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of e-commerce architecture, back-end logic, and platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud).Meticulous Attention to Detail: A perfectionist approach to verifying both front-end execution and back-end logic.Commercial Judgment & Prioritisation: Ability to ruthlessly prioritise delivery tasks balancing planned project milestones against immediate, critical site bugs within priorities set by the Head of Digital Product.Communication & Resilience: Ability to translate complex technical blockers into plain English for non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Execution Mindset: A proactive self-starter who thrives on "the doing," driving progress, and making things happen rather than just managing high-level concepts. Are there any benefits?Competitive salary33 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidaysFun working environment with regular social eventsEligible to join the enhanced pension scheme after 12 months serviceStaff discounts across the brands within Theo Paphitis Retail Group (Ryman, Robert Dyas and London Graphic Centre)
