We are supporting a specialist cyber security business looking to hire an early-career Security Consultant. Applicants must have 1-3 years’ experience in a cybersecurity role and be eligible for SC Clearance (Lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years) You will work with experienced security professionals to review client systems, identify weaknesses and recommend practical improvements. The role offers exposure to cloud platforms, networks, endpoints, identity systems and emerging AI technologies.ResponsibilitiesAssist with client security reviews and technical assessmentsAnalyse systems, controls and security configurationsIdentify risks, weaknesses and areas for improvementHelp prepare clear reports and recommendationsJoin client workshops and incident-response exercisesResearch new threats, tools and AI security developmentsRequirementsA basic understanding of cyber security and common threatsSome exposure to IT, cloud, infrastructure, networking or securityStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsClear written and verbal communicationA willingness to learn and develop within consultingUK right to work and flexibility to travel occasionallyDesirableExperience with AWS, Azure, networking, endpoint security or automationPersonal projects, home labs or practical technical trainingAn interest in AI securitySecurity+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-series, AWS or Azure certificationsA relevant degree or technical qualificationThis role would suit someone looking to build broad technical skills while developing experience in a client-facing cyber security environment.
