Job description
As our Working Student - Systems Test Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the following topics:
- Work with EV charging systems with an understanding of the charger architecture, key components, automation control, and application software
- Support in testing charging systems which includes but not limited to the following tasks:
- Integrating new electrical components into the charging systems
- Updating the charging system firmware/software and performing system tests according to the test procedure
- Contribute to the test procedure description
- Automatization of testing procedures
- Organise documentation of test results and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support in the maintenance and organisation of lab equipment and supplies
- Keep track of new Electric Vehicles coming to the market and coordinate interoperability test activities.
Requirements
You are a great match for what we are looking for if you bring with you the following skills and experience:
- You are an enrolled engineering Bachelor or Master student with a focus on electrical engineering, automotive technology or demonstrate equivalent knowledge
- You are passionate about electric vehicles and new market trends
- You have fundamental knowledge in electrical drawings and are able to understand wiring schematics
- You are flexible and a team player with a high level of commitment and initiative
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- A valid class B driving licence is an advantage
