Technical Consultant System Integration & Support

To strengthen our team, we are looking for someone in Cologne as soon as possible (six-month training mainly takes place in Oberhausen or remotely) Technical Consultant System Integration & Support (m/f/d) What you can expect from us:

• You support our customers in installing, integrating and operating our IT solutions in the existing IT infrastructure directly on site
• You accompany and document installations in production and test environments
• You are the first point of contact for technical questions, handle troubleshooting and coordinate problem analysis with other departments
• You bring ideas to expand existing monitoring and monitor the proper operation of our IT solutions at the customer’s site
• Your training takes place through internal training and several tutors. You can also deepen your knowledge through regular continuing education and expand it in new areas. Within the team, we rely heavily on direct exchange of knowledge and short lines of communication.

• You have completed a technical or scientific degree or completed IT vocational training with appropriate professional experience as an IT administrator or in 3rd level support
• You have sound knowledge of the operation and administration of Microsoft and Linux server environments, including virtualization
• You have basic knowledge of database administration (Oracle knowledge is an advantage, but not a must)
• Container deployment and handling are not new territory for you
• You’ve already had initial contact with Kubernetes
• You have a high level of initiative, independence, commitment, reliability and flexibility
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
• You are a team player and also ready to support colleagues with other customers or projects
