Senior Backend Engineer (Payments): Designing and optimizing robust backend services for a global employee benefits platform with an accent on transactional precision, idempotency, and fault tolerance. Requirements

5+ years of experience developing production-grade applications, specifically within the Node.js ecosystem (TypeScript) . Direct experience with banking systems, payment gateways, ledger systems, or reconciliation processes . Deep understanding of distributed systems mastery , including race conditions, eventual consistency, idempotency, and message brokers. Systematic approach to troubleshooting complex issues in high-concurrency environments. Extensive experience with automated testing patterns and a "shift-left" security mindset. Fluency in English and Spanish
