Paint Application Specialist

Objective of the position Support of customers and interested parties in all technical questions and problems.Responsible application-technical project processing for customers in the General Industry Business Unit.Para ser considerado para una entrevista, por favor, asegúrese de que su solicitud se ajusta plenamente a las especificaciones del puesto que se encuentran a continuación.Candidates can be located anywhere in Spain or Portugal.Active support of sales representatives in the acquisition projects.Tasks/activities 1. technical support in the introduction of products to customers2. presentation of the benefits of using the products to the customers3. training of the customer’s painters/technicians by imparting specific application-technical and pre-treatment-technical knowledge4. supporting the customer in his process and paint shop configuration5. recording, analysing and dealing with customers’ painting problems and complaints6. observing and reporting on competitive activities at the customer’s site7. documentation of all internal and external work (AT protocols, sample orders, FMEA, visit reports, etc.)8. processing of sample orders9. testing of application parameters of new developments and their optimisation in cooperation with the laboratory10. maintaining contacts with market-leading and innovative plant manufacturers11. providing technical advice and information to external and internal customers on all systems available on the market12. development and communication of paint structure recommendations for external and internal customers13. communication of pre-treatment techniques to external and internal customers14. development and definition of application windows15. preparation and follow-up of customer visits as part of the project work16. participation in project meetings17. maintenance, care and operation of the equipment necessary for painting (spray guns, pumps, ring lines, 2K mixing and dosing units, etc.)18. preparation of work instructions Requirements: Experience in the paints and coatings industry Experience in the industrial sector Experience in application processes and technologies Availability to travel up to 80% of the time Fluent Spanish and advanced English (B2 minimum; C1 preferred).German would be a significant advantage.xsgfvud We offer An excellent professional opportunity with a solid and reputable German company, offering a competitive and flexible compensation package based on experience and added value, along with a performance bonus, company car, and flexible benefits.
