Job description

We are seeking a Building Automation Systems (BAS) Programmer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting commercial HVAC control systems and be comfortable working with building automation software and field controllers., * Program, configure, and commission building automation and HVAC control systems.

  • Develop control sequences for commercial HVAC equipment, including AHUs, VAVs, chillers, boilers, and related systems.
  • Modify and optimize existing control programs to improve system performance.
  • Troubleshoot software, controller, and communication issues.
  • Support system startups, testing, commissioning, and customer training.
  • Review control drawings, wiring diagrams, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, technicians, and customers throughout project execution.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience with commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Experience programming and commissioning HVAC control systems.
  • Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or other building automation communication protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret control drawings, sequences of operation, and mechanical plans.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with one or more major BAS platforms.
  • Knowledge of HVAC system operation and energy management.
  • Experience with system graphics, alarming, trending, and front-end software.
  • Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent industry experience.
