Software Engineer, Fullstack ($200k-$320k + Equity) at Swarm Aero

You will architect Legion, a browser-based command and control platform for managing massive swarms of autonomous aircraft. Moving beyond traditional dashboards, you’ll build real-time distributed systems and performance-sensitive telemetry visualizations that enable a single operator to direct heterogeneous assets in complex environments, defining a new paradigm for human-swarm interaction., * Build the interface for the largest drone swarm on the planet, solving unique challenges in real-time distributed systems and telemetry visualization without existing prior art.

What You Will Do

• Architect the frontend for the Legion C2 system, enabling simultaneous command of heterogeneous aircraft even over intermittent or degraded communication links.
• Develop distributed, collaborative infrastructure for real-time aircraft control, handling massive telemetry data streams and performance-sensitive rendering using WebGL and geospatial tools.
• Own fullstack features end-to-end, from designing UI concepts for sensor data and mission scheduling to deployment via AWS GovCloud and Kubernetes.

• Has 6+ years of experience building complex fullstack applications with deep proficiency in React and modern backend languages like Python, Go, or Java.
• Possesses strong UI/UX instincts and experience with performance-sensitive applications, video streaming protocols, or immediate mode UI paradigms like those found in gaming.
• Is a US Person (ITAR requirement) motivated by building mission-critical technology at a startup pace within a world-class engineering culture.
