Job description

UI Artist (Gamedev): Creating high-quality user interface assets and iconography for the Monopoly GO! mobile game with an accent on whimsical art style and typography. Focus on collaborating with game designers and artists to iterate on complex UI systems and ensuring visual consistency across mobile platforms.Location:Must be based in or able to work from Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid)CompanyScopely is a leading global mobile games company behind major titles like MONOPOLY GO! and Pokémon GO, dedicated to creating engaging interactive entertainment experiences.ResponsibilitiesCreate mockups and pitches for in-game user interfaces including layout, design, and iconography.Collaborate with game designers, UX designers, concept artists, animators, and engineers to ensure a high-quality user experience.Produce highly polished UI assets for a casual and stylized game environment.Present and communicate UI direction effectively to various stakeholders.Act as a strong advocate for UI design and contribute to the team’s creative efforts.Requirements3+ years of practical design experience in the games industry, preferably in mobile.Strong graphic design and illustration skills tailored for casual or stylized games.Proficiency in typography and logo design.Solid understanding of UI/UX design best practices and interaction design fundamentals.Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.Strong cross-functional communication skills.Nice to haveExperience with Unity.Experience working with IPs.Experience with Figma.Culture & BenefitsWork in a collaborative, creative environment on one of the biggest mobile game titles in history.Opportunities to innovate within the mobile games industry.Global team culture with deep connections to player communities.Focus on developing immersive, long-lasting gaming experiences.#J-*****-Ljbffr

Requirements

3+ years of practical design experience in the games industry, preferably in mobile. Strong graphic design and illustration skills tailored for casual or stylized games. Proficiency in typography and logo design. Solid understanding of UI/UX design best practices and interaction design fundamentals. Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. Strong cross-functional communication skills. Nice to have Experience with Unity. Experience working with IPs. Experience with Figma.
