Job description

Job SummaryWe are seeking for our CivitFun Brand a senior Backend Engineer to develop key functionalities for our SaaS platform focused on the hospitality sector, including integrations with external systems (PMS, payment methods, locks), architectural design, and deployment of new solutions in a cloud environment. This is an end to end opportunity from architecture design to deployment.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain secure backend services using Node.js.Design and implement APIs and core business logic powering the platformCollaborate on front end development using React, especially for admin dashboards and user facing flows.Lead technical decisions around architecture, database design, and deploymentContribute to CI/CD setup, testing and code quality initiativesSkillset and Experience RequiredExperienced in backend development, primarily with Node.jsSolid hands on experience with React.js, including hooks and modern front end patternsStrong understanding of RESTful API ?s, authentication flows and role-based accessProficiency with databases (MongoDB, Redis) SQL and NoSQLCloud experience with AWSExperience with SaaS product developmentAbility to work independently and take ownership from concept to productionExperience with CI/CD setup, testing and code quality initiativesExperience working with the Agile Scrum methodologyEnglish and Spanish languages are a requirementEqual OpportunityAt HBX Group, we believe that diversity drives innovation and makes travel a force for good. Requirements

Experienced in backend development, primarily with Node.js Solid hands on experience with React.js, including hooks and modern front end patterns Strong understanding of RESTful API ?s, authentication flows and role-based access Proficiency with databases (MongoDB, Redis) SQL and NoSQL Cloud experience with AWS Experience with SaaS product development Ability to work independently and take ownership from concept to production Experience with CI/CD setup, testing and code quality initiatives Experience working with the Agile Scrum methodology English and Spanish languages are a requirement
