Job description

This position is an intermediate level analyst position responsible for acquiring in depth knowledge of EPIC Clinical System/Interfaces, working independently in completing project tasks and leading the execution of the following tasks as part of a clinical systems implementation: HL7 Interface development, data conversion, building system components, testing, documentation of interface specifications, data flows and other project information, implementation support and maintenance of Epic Clinical software. In addition this position requires the ability to independently interact with clients and guide decision making as well as demonstrate critical thinking and follow through when developing solutions to identified issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, * Three years experience in Information Technology/Computer Science and/or clinical healthcare discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Experience in working on medium to large sized systems projects in a technology-driven environment
  • The applicant must have 3 years prior interface development experience, preferably with an interface engine
  • Epic Bridges Certification and experience required
  • Experience with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) highly preferred
  • Experience or familiarity with web technologies (HTTP, REST, JSON, OAuth, etc.)
  • Strong technical background in APIs, integration, or interface technologies

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $90,000.00 - $135,285.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
