Job description

Integrates, conforms, profiles and maps data, and provides quality assurance oversight (data error detection and correction) on business processes where data is collected, stored, transformed, or used. Examines moderately complex data to optimize the efficiency and quality of the data being collected, resolves data quality problems, and collaborates with the business and ETL database developers to improve systems and database designs., What is driving this need? (ex. Backfill for FTE or CW, new project, business growth) Describe the surrounding team (team culture, work environment, etc.) & key projects. Do you have any additional upcoming hiring needs, or is this request part of a larger hiring initiative? The team manages most inbound and outbound data feeds, including claims (EDW/RTR), encounters, eligibility, authorizations, member/provider communications automation, and enterprise MFT processes. This position is needed to support the conversion of 300+ MFT jobs from legacy ActiveBatch workflows to the Centene Control-M standard, including tracking, updating, coordinating, and validating the migration effort. No additional upcoming hiring needs. Typical Day in the Role Walk me through the day-to-day responsibilities and a description of the project (Outside of the Workday JD). What are performance expectations/metrics? What makes this role unique? The contractor will spend the majority of the day reviewing existing ActiveBatch (AB) MFT jobs, documenting current schedules/dependencies, updating AB job configurations to align with Control-M standards, and coordinating with internal Control-M and Data management teams to validate successful migration. Performance will be measured by the number of jobs accurately converted, quality of documentation, timely issue resolution, and successful validation with minimal production impact. Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 2 4 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. Technical Skills: One or more of the following skills are desired. Experience with Big Data; Data Processing Experience with Data Manipulation; Data Mining Experience with one or more of the following C# (Programming Language); Java (Programming Language); Programming Concepts; Programming Tools; Python (Programming Language); SQL (Programming Language) Experience with Agile Software Development Soft Skills: Intermediate - Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty Intermediate - Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Intermediate - Ability to work independently, Education/Certification Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, or related field Preferred: Licensure Required: N/a Preferred: Years of experience required: 2-4yrs Disqualifiers: Additional qualities to look for: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed, with the ability to manage a high volume of migration tasks, track dependencies, communicate blockers, and follow through on validation steps with minimal oversight. Strong communication skills are important for coordinating with Control-M, Data Management, and business partners throughout the conversion effort.
