Job description

We are looking for Software Engineers with strong PHP development experience to join our growing engineering team. This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates located anywhere in the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable backend applications, developing REST APIs, and working with modern PHP frameworks. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using PHP.
Build and enhance secure, scalable REST APIs.
Develop applications using modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Slim.
Design and optimize MySQL databases for performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
Contribute to backend automation and API-driven services.

Requirements

3+ years of PHP development experience (Mid-Level).
Strong experience with modern PHP frameworks, preferably Laravel.
Experience with Symfony or Slim is also acceptable.
Solid knowledge of MySQL database design and optimization.
Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of software development best practices.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Kubernetes.
Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools.
Experience with messaging systems, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.
Exposure to microservices architecture.
