Our client is a leading distributor serving professional contractors across the construction industry, providing specialized building materials, concrete accessories, safety equipment, and other essential jobsite solutions. With a strong commitment to innovation and operational excellence, the organization continues to invest in technology that improves business performance and enhances the customer experience., * Lead large, cross-functional technology programs from planning through execution, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and manage integrated program plans, financial forecasts, resource strategies, governance processes, risk mitigation plans, and executive status reporting.
- Partner with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and project managers to align priorities, remove roadblocks, and drive successful program delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Establish and maintain program governance, change management processes, performance metrics, and reporting cadences while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Provide strategic leadership by influencing stakeholders, facilitating key decisions, mentoring project teams, and continuously improving program management practices.
Requirements
They are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level technology initiatives with an emphasis on emerging AI programs. While prior AI experience is beneficial, the primary focus is on proven program leadership, strategic execution, and the ability to successfully deliver large-scale IT initiatives in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned program manager who enjoys driving cross-functional collaboration, influencing executive stakeholders, and delivering impactful business outcomes., * 7+ years of experience managing complex enterprise IT programs or portfolios consisting of multiple concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams within matrix organizations while influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong experience with program planning, budgeting, financial forecasting, resource management, governance, risk management, and executive-level reporting.
- Experience managing software development or enterprise technology initiatives utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- PMP, PgMP, or other project/program management certifications are a plus.
- Exposure to AI initiatives, machine learning, or emerging technologies is desirable but not required.
