Adviser in AI-enabled Application Development

The temporary job opening is from 01 April to 30 June 2026. The consultant will be home- based. The consultancy position is located in the Evaluation Team within the Policy, Evaluation and Training Division (DPET) of the Department of Peace Operations (DPO). The consultant is under the direct supervision of the Chief of the Evaluation Team.

An advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent degree) in artificial intelligence, computer science, software development, UI/UX design, or a related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. A minimum of five years of established expertise in software/application development, computer science, data analysis, or digital innovation is required. A minimum of two years experience in programming or software development using AI is required. Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, generative AI for code, AI-driven UI exploration) is required. Experience with Microsoft Power Apps is strongly desirable. Experience with Power Automate and Power BI is desirable as well. Experience working in international organizations is desirable. Languages For the consultancy position advertised, fluency in English is required.
