3-5 Must Haves (need to be highlighted in sizzle & present on resume) 5 years of C#.Net development experiecne of cloud native applciations Strong Azure experience including Azure Function Apps, Service Bus, Azure Paas services Experience with CosmosDB Experience with Temporal is a strong plus What we do not want: “Deploying,” “configuring,” “migrating,” or “managing” Azure resources without application development Heavy focus on ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines with little evidence of writing application code DevOps/SRE background (Kubernetes admin, cloud infrastructure, pipeline engineering) WITHOUT hands-on software development Azure certifications but no code samples or portfolio demonstrating actual development work Infrastructure management (“maintained 200 VMs,” “configured networking,” “administered databases”) without building applications Bullet points full of tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform) but no mention of programming languages or application logic
