Requirements

BS Degree. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

  • Required Certifications: AWS Certified Developer and/or Architect. Big plus: CKE or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Administrator OR Application Developer)

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • Full Stack (Backend 70% - Frontend-30%)- Angular front end, Java web services
  • Mongo DB, Aurora PostgreSQL
  • MUST have AWS exp with few years of deploying and managing EKS Playwright in AWS

  • 8+ years of Software Development experience
  • Hands-on experience supporting an AWS Cloud migrations
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • Must have PostgreSQL / MongoDB
  • Frontend: Angular 16+, CSS, HTML, React
  • Backend: Spring Boot framework, Java v17+ development experience with ability to develop unit / integration test cases using Junit /TestNg.
  • Must have ability to understand and work with code developed by other developers.
  • Must have extensive experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).
  • Good to have experience working with API Management Tools.
  • Good to have Experience working with GIT/BitBucket.

About the company

Elite Technical is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer with hands on experience with a AWS Cloud, Kubernetes and DevOps related projects. The selected candidate will perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of our client’s legacy web application, along with supporting their AWS migration effort. The selected candidate will work with appropriate stakeholders to define system scope and objectives and establish baselines. Establishes project standards and processes. Breaks down software requirements and creates highly complex systems.

This position is a mostly remote but onsite meetings will occur in Reston VA 1x per month. The interview process will be a video, then a mandatory onsite/F2F interview in Reston VA. This is a long term (12 month PLUS) contract position.
